Think the backpacks in The Division Are Cool?

Recommended Posts

If so, here are the best of the best:  http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/Gearslinger-c72.htm

I'm kinda thinking of picking one up.  My current pack I use for school is pretty large and, at this point, contains more non-school stuff then school stuff especially when I'm packing.

Plus Maxpedition bags have MOLLE in the interiors and they make an interior weapon holster attachment that can be affixed to the interior MOLLE.  I like the idea of that.  Right now I use a detached thigh holster with a pair of gloves laid over the top in case anyone gets nosey.

If you like the monsoon, I have a new one that I would be happy to sell. It is the all black variant.

In addition to the monsoon, I have the condor II and it is a pretty good small/med pack.

Here is the two backpacks that I am looking at now:

Never been to fond of sling bags... If Cave gets one, I may try it and see how it sits on the body.

Odin, I thought I would like the sling type, but wound up not liking it much. That is why I went with the Condor II. I think it was the pulling it over my head instead of just sliding it off of the shoulder that I didn't like.

Eh, they look nifty but, like Destroy, the one Maxpedition I eye fuck the most is the Condor II.

It's weird that the gearslingers don't have a QD something-or-other on the strap.  Perfect place for a cobra buckle if I ever saw one.

Call me old fashioned, but I like to evenly distribute the weight I carry on both shoulders if I am carrying a full pack like that. I do have my messenger bag that I use for my laptop or quick tactical necessities, but I limit the weight of that to much below what you would put in a larger pack such as the ones linked here...
