For a cpl of months after they relaunched it with no monthly subs it was just me and Bealin playing, then I stopped followed by Bealin a while after that. Helcon started playing a couple of months back, don't know if he still is or not.

I tried playing a bit last night, until I realized all my points had been reset, got to figure out were to put them again, another long process I'm guessing, after the huge update 4.5gb it was late, so didn't get much time in, after trying to remember all my key configs. lol

Although I like ESO, they might have increased the xp gain but a million xp between each veteran level still gets old just as fast lol.

I know a few folks playing on PS4, but I'm not paying $60 for something I barely touched during the PC beta. It had some neat mechanics and no sub now, so...I dunno.

In ESO's defense, I played the beta as well and it is a different game from that one was. After playing one beta I was adamant I wasn't getting ESO so I never bothered pre-ordering it. A week after launch I gave in and got it anyway and the difference between beta and launch was huge ... veteran levels are still boring as hell though lol.

I'm not minding the vet level progression too much...am partway thru Caldwell's Gold and actually finding the progression too fast for the mobs I face.  I like to complete everything in a zone and thus end up being a level or 2 above the mobs (e.g. am now v9 in the second main zone of Gold where the mobs are v7).  The only real challenge is when I solo the public dungeons...while the mobs are still lower level than I, at least they make up for it in quantity....and the bosses are a bit more difficult.

 

And I often go out of my way to avoid fighting world mobs unless I need to as part of the current quest (definitely no grinding). Also have only done 2 of the group dungeons in either Caldwell's....difficult to find anyone to group with. I'll periodically go thru each of the zones doing a zonal LFG but usually just get crickets for response. So for me at least, the progression is too fast for the zones. Does tend to make the action in Caldwell's a bit boring although I enjoy the storyline (and is great for crafters as there is little competition for resources - makes it a bit tough when you are slightly OCD and feel the need to harvest everything you come across).

 

But a lot of people have complained about the vet progression so that is changing with the DLC coming out the end of Aug...

• 15% decrease in the amount of XP it takes to gain a Veteran Rank (will be 850K / level)
• 100% more XP for all public dungeons
• 50% more XP for all Veteran Rank quests
• 20% more XP in Craglorn

The Imperial City DLC was released for PC.  I haven't bought it yet as I'm still wrapping up the original content.  Nice thing about it is that most of the dedicated PVP'rs seem to have moved to it which means I can get finish up the delves/skyshards in Cyrodiil without getting jumped.

For you guys that are coming back around for the Morrowind expansion, you'll need to get your cp points up asap, it makes things a lot easier.  There are ways to get xp boosts now, aside from buying crown scrolls with cash.   If you do any fishing, and when guttin yer fish you get a legendary "Perfect Roe", I have the recipe to use that to make xp potions that last at least a half hour.  More if you have skill points that extend potion effects.  I can make 4 per perfect roe, just let me know amigos

 

**Also, there is an event starting from april 4th to April 18th.  In this event you can get a cake, which you can feed to your group and it gives 100% xp bonus, that STACKS with potion xp boosts, and I think it lasts for an hour.  That's 200% xp stacked on top of what the normal xp is, and an hour of grinding that will spit out cp's by the buttload**

 

I'm max'd for cp's right now, but have no problem running with you if you want to rape dungeons and such.  I do the normal one's solo, so we can spam them for xp and gear if you want.

Hey Rojnaar!! I got a pie momento thingy from the festival that gives 100% xp boost for 2 hours, can use it anytime! And if you have a tank, I know 2 others that would love to rock out dungeons for xp. I will be on tonight to see what's going down!
