"Payton" -- or another name to be posted. I'll edit as I make decisions. I'll let others post their primary crafting preference first.

- 1 will likely be a Templer / support

- 2 will be a Storm Caster

2 - Member / Ebonheart / Race / Class / Focus / Primary Profession / Secondary Profession

I have a key also -- just post here saying you want Payton's key and I'll pm it back to you.

Bealin --- want to be Khajiit this time?  Let's have you do the woodworking and get you everything for that.

I will try the Enchanting and I think I'll try a healer spec this time with the Templer Restoring Light Class, and the Nightblade Siphoning Class to try debuffs and DOT attacks.

I hear tell that there's going to be one more weekend beta before release.  Even if there's not, I'll be playing at release either as a Nord or Imperial maybe.

Member / Faction / Race / Class / Focus / Primary Profession / Secondary Profession

Rojnaar/Ebonheart Pact/Nord/Dragon Knight/2hand-Bow/Blacksmith/woodworker

I might change my class up for release, had fun with a dual wield nightblade, but all my characters will start with 'Roj'..  Rojnaar, Rojnafein, Rojseunichcaster.

will not spend to much time playing on the weekends until the full game starts. want to still have some surprises in the starting area.

Main - Dralzen/Ebon Heart/Khajit/Night Blade/Blacksmithing(Heavy Armour - Breast plate, belt and leggings)/Enchanting

Secondary - Ruthen/Ebon Heart/High elf/Mage/Woodworking(Staves)/Alchemy

counting the days to start. 14 days to go.

ya did not remember that there is a lot of research involved in the enhancements. see what you mean about enchanting. happened to me in the game, the ones that i made where starting to fall behind my level.

when we have the Guild bank. will just have to collect everything i see, and then put what i do not need for my crafting into the bank. will be a lot of trips lol. love to explore.

Dralzen --  I think if you take both Heavy Armor and 1 handed, you will get neither too far. There are10 different enhancements for every piece or armor and every 1 hand weapon. And then there are 5 stage for each. You won't be able to master any.  This will be the same with staves/staffs and bows.

My opinion is you pick one or the other and let someone else work on the second one.

Rojnarr said he is doing 2handed so someone doing 1 handed will make sure we have melee weapons covered.

For Armor, picking half the Armor and letting someone else do the others will also be more effective:  (1) helm; shoulders; arms; hands (2) chest; legs; boots; belt.  I may have missed a slot in there but this gives a better chance of getting everything advanced and all enhancements covered.

This is the same for light and for medium armor.

So between staffs and bows, there is also a distinction that would be good to designate.

As for alchemy and enchanting, those are a lot of work to get all the different combinations and components. Jungles did a lot of enchanting and I did a lot of alchemy but these crafts will need a lot of support to make sure all the possibilities are addressed and advanced. It is easy to outlevel the effectiveness or utility of enchantments if you do them on your own. The potions also are very limited in effectiveness. You find what you need in the world regardless, and won't be able to provide better crafted ones. So more than one person doing either alchemy or enchanting will mean neither is producing potions that help anyone ....

So I think we need to really specialize and once the first person passes the utility of the lower grade components then someone else can start and be staggered a few stages behind.

I totally agree with you on that Payton.

I plan on focusing my woodworking on bows only, and my clothing I was just focusing on medium armor, and truth be told its not always easy finding medium armor with the proper trait I want to unlock first for each piece of armor. But having a guild in there and everyone finding stuff could help make that happen faster. Now it takes 6 hours for the first trait unlock for each piece of armor, then 12 hours for the second trait. Plus if you level the skill high enough you can get the skill to do more than 1 trait unlock at a time which would greatly speed things up. There is also a skill that reduces the time to learn traits, so grabbing those skills as fast as possible would be a very good idea.

Now I think we need to go even deeper into detail with crafting, instead of 2h and 1h, you need to go with 2h sword specifically, or 1h axe. I also plan on focusing trait unlocks on daggers, as that is separate from woodworking and clothing, and will be what I use in my second weapon set at lvl 15. But I probably won't be focusing that profession, so it won't level up very much in the beginning.

Also keep in mind that extracting gear into raw materials will give some skill level points for the associated profession, so unless the item has a good trait on it that someone needs be sure to extract everything. There is also a skill to increase the amount of materials extracted from items, so if someone gets that it also might be a good idea to give them the stuff to extract, as the more materials we get the better.

Now I have pre-ordered the Imperial Digital Edition, so I will have 5 days early access. During this time I will be trying to get ahead as much as i can before launch day and I will be saving up everything I find in the way of materials. So once we are all in the game I can get you all in the guild and we can use the nice 1000 slot guild bank to store materials. I will be putting all the materials I find in there that I am not focusing on, so herbs, runes, enchantments for extracting, jutte, iron ingots, etc...

Anyway I am pretty excited for this game and I look forward to seeing you all in there.

There's going to be another beta weekend on the 14th, if anyone is on the fence about the game.

All your characters share the same bank, so if you have a higher level one, it's not too hard to twink a second or make a second crafter character

i was thinking of making a nightblade healer. as with ESO you can look like something tottaly different then what you actually are. heavy armor and healing and able to stealth and then take out the ones attacking me in pvp. would be kind of interesting. will have to see what kind of armour mods will help and make some nice leaching weapons to go with the nightblade skills.

So the racial skills for Imperial I believe were for Stamina and Experience, so nothing spectacular. But if you have Imperial Edition it does allow you to play any race with any faction, so that is pretty cool. So now I can make a wood elf and play in the Ebonheart Pact and not lose out on my archer racials.

Should be pretty fun this weekend!
