  1. Heads-up! Triple station cash sale TOMORROW, 21 DEC 2012. Additionally, double XP from 21 DEC 2012 to 02 JAN 2012.
  2. Found some good news about vehicles in Planetside 2. As some of you may know in the original Planetside most vehicles separated the gun controls from the driving controls which meant the vehicle required multiple operators. We heard awhile back that Planetside 2 will be doing away with that and will give full control over driving and guns to a single operator essentially make many vehicles one man shows like tanks in World of Tanks. But here's some good news! There are still gunner positions in these vehicles that can be filled with players. The driver can assign turret/gun control to these "extraneous" gunners. I was quite relieved to hear that. The catch is that the gunner must be certed to use that gun and/or vehicle (I'm not sure which). Apparently the one-man vehicle operation was the result of players who certed into a vehicle often only ever being able to merely drive it which, I must admit, does get boring at times (which is why I'm very glad Drac and I can trade off between the Prowler and Skyguard or Marauder).

  4. Great video of some power armor from PS2. More importantly, it shows off a bunch of customization options which I had no idea the game was going to have. You can add little bits of kibble to the armor and completely reskin it. They even have camo patterns! Very cool. [ame=]Planetside 2 - The MAX Unit - YouTube[/ame]
