I know it's slow guys, I've bitched to GoDaddy a few times and here is their response:

Additionally, I have had the database server tested, and there is not an issue with excessive load on the server your database is using. This issue can be caused by the application interfacing with the database or just to the amount of content the site contains. You can improve performance by optimizing the fields and tables of your database.

To administrate your own database server and not experience this issue due to the shared hosting environment, you may consider a Virtual Dedicated Server for this kind of functionality. Short of completely switching hosting services and migrating everything there's nothing much else I can do. I think at one or point or another though I'll have to.
