When I used to play SWG I always dreamed of the game allowing me to recreate this fight scene:

Well, in CoX I finally did. Basically everything you see in the fight clip above is possible in CoX. For a relatively succinct account I'll fill your ear up with this little diddy:
I was robbing a bank with a bunch of other villains (you didn't actually think I'd go hero-side, did you?) and part of the mission requires you and your team to defeat a hero boss and his sidekicks or whatever. The task force NPCs the hero brings with him are called Longbow.
At any rate, we only had so much time to make our escape and had just grabbed the cash. We thought we had eliminated all of the longbow but the mission didn't end. I equipped my jetpack and rocketed skywards to find two entire squads of Longbow jump troopers patrolling the sky.
Two other guys came up to help after I put the word out and I started the engagement. I was zip-zap-zooping every which way laying into these guys when my two teammates were knocked out of the sky and basically fell to their deaths (your jetpack can get shot off or a certain state effect might paralyze you and all you can do is hope you come out of it before you splat). I must have been twenty or thirty stories up when all of my assault rifle attacks were recharging so I closed in to finish this final Longbow mano y mano.
We both executed an attack at the exact same time and knocked our jetpacks off. As we hurled towards the pavement one of my assault rifle attacks came up and I shot the guy. At the last minute I blasted my jump pack power (jump pack is different than a jetpack, jetpack is equipment while jump pack is an ability) and oh so very narrowly avoided being a big red greasy stain on the sidewalk.
Completed the mission with a whole two seconds left to spare.
That's why you need to play this game. Not only that but it has rockin' PvE content (and a shit ton of it to boot, once you hit max level you're just hitting the real content and have the majority of it ahead of you) and the PvP is a blast too. Even the social areas can be really fun.
Yeah, y'all should be playing this game. And if you're still not convinced the whole CoX Kit (CoH + CoV + Bonus Shit) is only twenty bucks. Seriously, I've been playing this game with Astrid for almost an entire week now and it's been a blast.
My class is fun as hell and you get to pick all of your skills and then insert whatever enhancements (as long as they're applicable to the skill) you want to customize them just how you'd like. Even if someone has the exact same skill loadout as you do the enhancements can create two completely different play styles.
Play CoX! And if you do decide to roll in Paragon City choose the "Virtue" server. I'm villain side.
Okay, so I lied; that was hardly succinct.
