Roethlisberger posted a perfect QB rating in last night's game against the Rams. 158.3. That's right. I was pretty on edge going into the game because of their slump but they played great and the defense finally stepped up.
Anyways, anyone else think the Vikings are going to tear some people up in the playoffs? They remind me of the 2005 Steelers quite a bit and are heading into the post season white hot.
Who are you guys pulling for? I think it's no secret I'm a Steel-town homer by now;)

I hope the Vikings do well, I have a soft spot for all the teams in the NFC North, probably in order Vikings, GB, Chicago & Detroit, but I like them all. Without knowing how the seeds are gonna fall yet it's hard to predict but I would love to see Vikings vs. Packers for the NFC Championship. I hate to say it though, I think GB and Dallas (who I hate) are the top two contenders in that division.
I'm a Bronco Fan myself but this season has been a bust from the start. They got killed (again) tonight and have been playing the worst I've seen in 25 years of following them, with the possible exception of 2001, the year after Elway retired. It's frustrating because they have tons of talent but haven't been able to put it together at all. If I had one wish for them still this year it would be that they wouldn't have to go embarass themselves again next week to close the season.
Elswhere in the AFC I hope the Giants can beat New England to kill the perfect season. There are alot of good teams, as always, but I hate to say that I don't think the Steelers are gonna be able to pull it off in the playoffs. Funny thing to say but with all the hype about the Pats, and after a couple of losses, the Colts seem to be flying under the radar all of a sudden. I also think San Diego may suprise some people after an up and down season. Not that I won't be rooting for Pittsburg at least a little. I kinda like them and I don't want to see New England or Indy there. Chargers vs. Steelers would be a good one. I've always liked thier straight forward hard nosed style, even in the days before Bill Cower.
It's ironic because as a Bronco fan Pittsburg was as bad as the Bane in the 70's and 80's, knocking us out of the playoffs more than once. The worst though was the AFC Championship game in Denver in 2004 when they went on to win the superbowl. I have seasons tickets and debated selling them for that game. They were going for gobs of cash at the time but we figured we'd go as it was the AFC Championship and the Superbowl was next. Big mistake. We all know how the game turned out but worse than that, I seriously think there were more Steelers fans in the stadium that day then Broncos fans. I guess all the smart ones took the money, and I guess cash from Pensylvania is just as good as any kind.
So anyway, yeah, big football fan here. I could go on and on so if you like to talk, debate or just compare opinions I will be happy to post away.
