Where Did You Hear About the 47th?
Stevers convinced me to check it out, oh, where? In-game chat :)
Briefly Describe Both Yourself and Your Character:
Ok, me, I'm an old school gamer from way back in the 80's, spent some time as a coder for the old MU* games (MUSH and MUSE mainly). Still play a lot when I get a chance and have a lovely wife who likes shooters and hack & slash games so I'm happy since 'quality family time' now includes LAN games. I'm currently a freelance IT consultant and software developer with a touch of independant game developer and some modding thrown in for good measure. Ok, this wasn't so brief, was it? Oh, almost forgot, I have to warn you that I am a chronic smart-*ss, I call it leftover behavior disorder from 4 years in the Army and 8 years as a street cop.
Ivan... Well, Ivan's Ranger to the core and takes the 'Ranger's Lead the Way' and 'Leave no-one behind' attitude very seriously. He was an illegal immigrant in the US, resulting in the odd last name he ended up with on his forged passport and birth certificate. Before the war he worked as a professional stunt-man for b-grade action flicks and has a habit of getting a little 'theatrical' in the heat of combat.
What makes you think you'd be an asset to this organization?
I am certified 100% drama free, 97% fat free and generally easy to get along with. It's a game and I'm here to have fun with (hopefully) like-minded gamers. I'm always willing to help out when I can and even though I'm relatively new to TR myself I frequently help out the new players and trial accounts, doing so with the 47th tag should surely be some good publicity if nothing else :)
