Where Did You Hear About the 47th?
An exhaustive google search for some form of RP clan (even light) that seems stable, with people that don't come across as condescending.
Briefly Describe Both Yourself and Your Character:
Myself- I work retail. Whee. Recently finished a few certifications for networking, and I'm in the market for a new job.
I've been playing games for about as long as I can remember, starting with some muds and Nexon's Dark Ages back when Ultima Online was state-of-the-art. I've since played Dark Age of Camelot, Ragnarok Online, Lineage 2, WoW, Everquest 2, Final Fantasy XI, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Lord of the Rings Online, and probably a few others I've forgotten to mention.
I'm also a sucker for good characters and story. A book is able keep me hooked until I put it down at 4:00 AM. If a clan has some well-developed characters, I'll end up sticking around for a very, very long time.
My character- Abridged version: Baker-turned-flamethrower-toting-reckless-son-of-a-bitch. 21. Receptive. Always liked fire. Military brother, both parents living at invasion. From the Southeast US. Mild distrust of anything not known before the Invasion [AFS, Logos, strange races, strange technologies].
What makes you think you'd be an asset to this organization?
After playing with so many people over so many games, I have a fairly good idea of how people will act when put inside a game-- I know when things might turn sour, and what can be done to prevent that from happening. I play to have fun, and for no other reason. I avoid drama.
