View Full Version : Looking for a Combat Medic?

Hey all,
I picked up SWTOR and I currently have 2 characters. My first was a Jedi just for storyline, but as seen in Earthrise, healing is what gives me purpose in an MMO. So my 2nd character is a Combat Medic and I am still really low level, but addicted more and more every day.
I figured I would pop in and see if you all need another medic on the team because 47th and PvP is >= fun.
I am not sure what my time looks like for the future, as I finally landed a programming job and I end up working long hours quite often, but I can play at least 3-4 times a week for at least an hour. Most likely on weekends I can play much longer if I am not in a BF3 mood.
Let me know what the good news is here and I hope to see you all in-game very soon.

I could have sworn that there was another server listed on the SWTOR page for guilds. I guess it is time for me to reroll onto Ajunta Pall. No biggie really seeing as I am only about lvl 13. I should be on this evening once I get off of work. I might even get the name I want.

Our original "guild launch" wouldn't set us up in an RP server, so we defaulted to Daragon Trail. Once EGA started, people rolled onto Ajunta Pall.

No biggie. I made a new trooper on Ajunta Pall. The name is Strikur. I will get on TS3 tonight or tomorrow after I get out of work. I can't wait until we can get in some PvP. I have watched a few videos and as long as someone protects the Combat Medic it is definitely game changing.
Any specific crafting we are in dire need of? If not I will just go Biochem, Bioanalysis, Diplomacy so I can help keep us stocked up on stims and med packs.

Just a heads up but we switched back to Vent. FM 21-4 (http://47th.info/comms/showthread.php?t=21) has everything you'll need to download and connect to it.
As fr crafting, probably Bioanalysis or Artifice. We've got quite a few Cybertechs, two Armstechs, and I'm doing Armor which isn't really in demand so those two would be probably be best.

My permissions are too low to view the thread, but Ventrilo will be no issue once I can see the new information for it. Seeing as we could use Bioanalysis I will go ahead and go with Biochem for crafting and make sure to keep a nice steady supply of bioanalysis materials rolling in.
One cool thing is that I should be able to craft and gather the majority of the day on most days from work. Once I have the credits to do so I will make sure to keep as productive as possible at all times on the crafting/gathering side of things.
See ya in game and on Vent!!!

Ah, yeah. If you go inactive on the site for more than thirty days you get dropped from the 47th member group.
Anyways, I restored your permission and you should now be able to view FM 21-4.

Even with slicing nerfed if you did it all day you would still be filthy rich. Originally the reward for slicing was a lot of credits. Realizing that they super infused the economy with ludicrous levels of cash they nerfed the reward but it is still apparently profitable to some degree.

Slicing will still make you a lot of credits, but not from lockbox missions. If that's all you run, you'll lose more credits than you'll make. Slicing's really only good for augment missions, the random mission rewards of other missions, and world slicing. But it'll still make you some extra credits for nothing.
