Was just wondering if anybody else plays this. I haven't played in forever, and even though I barely have time to log in with you guys, It'd be cool to jump on sometime and shoot up some things.
I think my soldier's name was Dingo

I was thinking about getting in a while ago to have an FPS to play with my Girlfriend, but I ended up buying myself and her the Orange Box to play TF2 with.

How if TF2 btw? They just recently finished the TFC mod for HL2 and it's pretty good. Was debating on jumping for TF2. I still haven't played Episodes 1 or 2 either...

I kinda gave up right at the end of ep. 2... I dunno, just couldn't get past it and stopped trying...
Now portal, thats different... I just love that game.
.... haven't eaten cake since I beat it, either.....

Did you play Episode 2 on the Xbox or the PC? I found it a little hard, but after 3 tries I managed to beat it. I can't see me somehow getting the acheivement for not loosing a building though. TF2 is awesome, as long as you play it for the PC and not the Xbox360. I've spent most of my time not on TR playing either TF2, Civ4, or Guild Wars.

Episode 1 was kinda short, episode 2 was pretty good, though it had too many scripted points where you had no control for my taste. That strider killing bit at the end was quite a challenge. Hit and run killing the hunters was a pain. The hunters kept dodging out of the way last second.
Of course portal makes up for any disappointment over the ep. 1 and 2. There is no cake. The cake is a lie!
TF2 is just fun.

And, jsut in case you didn't know, like my friend didn't. The large logs and other objects do a lot of damage to the Hunters when you fling those at them.

Yeah, running them over works too, kinda...
But yeah, for PC is what I had it on. I'll probably never get around to it again, lol.
