Big Thanks to All of the Guests!

I keep an eye on our "Most Users Ever Online" stat on the bottom of the main forum page. Yesterday we broke 13. I was pretty enthused about that but today we managed to hit 25 concurrent users!

I've noticed that at least one of the guest is always a google bot, probably searching our archives to lock away forever in the google archives so that when our computer overlords will take us over they will know everything about it. I never have gotten around to looking at the ip address' of the guests when there have been more than 1 of them.

A google bot? Yeah, I've noticed that there always at least one guest. Usually, anyways. But we do have our name plastered over many, many locations. TabulaSpot, Stratics, PlanetTR, TRRP, the official RGTR clan listings, and Gangrel's forums. That's all of the biggies.

While I've never been around during one of the huge influxs of guests, I can imagine that most of them are here just to look at the calendar when something is posted about our activities.

Just wanted to let everyone know that yesterday we shattered our previous record of 27 users online. The new record stands at 51!

Damn, nice. Once again I have to wonder how many of those were just search bots, crawlers and spiders. Still that's a lot of guests.

One reason is all the hard work you guys put into those Clan Events the Gm's n DEV's help with. Your creating a good rep for the 47thAFSEF, so becareful guys or we may not get to be as dark as you wish mwahaha.

But seriously; thats why I said we should go for more gusto on the next one. They are getting alot of notice from current players and I have had a few comments, about how others realy enjoyed them, in the past few days; as well as the privilage of instructing players interested in joining our ranks as to the appropriate steps.

Sounds to me like players want to see even more bigger and bolder events out of the 47thAFSEF that realy lay the smack down on those Bane.

We just had a little spike of guests, so I checked out thier IP address'. Most of them were very similar so when I did a search It came up that they were all from a Nordic Web Search Company. So once again, we're gettings tons of guests simply from search websites wanting to stay up to date.

Thats a shame. Here I was hoping it was more of a situation of actual players looking for insight into TR or the clan and our plans.

Oh well I'm sure not all of them are google bots and I'm still happy to have them check us out!

I could be wrong, and a whole slew of people from Sweden who all work in the same company building decided to look at our webpage at the exact same time. I too wish we had real people visiting. Maybe we should plug our website more often on more sites?

We're plugged on TenTonHammer, Stratics, Gangrel's, PlanetTR, TabulaSpot, TR Vault, IGN, RGTR.com... all I can think of at the moment. Not sure what else is left anyways.
