Looks like the worlds of TOR are going to be pretty small. All of Ord Mantell is just two square kilometers.

For reference, any planet in SWG is 15x15km for a total of 225 square clicks compared to TOR's 4.

First let me start with sayin that I can't take credit for this work.
All credit for this goes to bibihest in here. He is named Hest on our guildboards, and when i asked if he had postet it in here, he said "no, its nothing special"..

Hehe, well i disagree, because the work and observations he has made so far seem kind of impressive to me, and no matter what its interesting and fun info.

It's an ongoing thing on our open guild boards HERE (http://www.semperdanica.dk/showthread.php?31122-ET-kig-på-en-MAP-fra-Ord-Mantell-i-SWTOR-zone-størrelse&p=407474#post407474)
But our boards are in danish, so here is a short recap..

First someone in here posted the Ord Mantell world map:

I find it interesting to see how big the zone is. The little red circle is the Trooper starting area.
Its hard to estimate the size from this.

Then Hest find a detailed map, of a part of the world map, and put them together:

And then adds a few pics from the area to show the size comparison.

Here i go "WOOOW Cool"...
Then another guy Qrull time some running from A to B points and compare them to maps.

After that Hest posts this:
http://theoldrepublic.dk/?img=map3.jpg

And finally this where he jokes about having spare time to make the entire map in 3D..
http://theoldrepublic.dk/?img=wp-content/uploads/tor-room.png

Size Wise each square on the world map is around 200 meters x 200 meters. (600x600 ft.)
See this again: http://theoldrepublic.dk/map.jpg

With 10x10 squares on the world map, it is around 2km x 2km in size.

I have no idea if these numbers are accurate, but the pics and comparisons are cool enough =)

I will post updates if Hest keeps playing with this =) Or maybe he should keep updating in here himself ;o)

UPDATE1. Hest plays with more 3D modelling

UPDATE2. Comparing the size to a trooper.

Can you find the trooper down on this one? He is there!

UPDATE3. Since you guys like it, i think that bibihest is giving you extra detail here hehe.

UPDATE4. The 3D par on the world map. =)

Thx to Elistrae for this, pointing out that there are routes into smaller areas, and that the volcano probably is explorable.

And Thx to Darth Hater for noticing this thread. =)

I’m not too concerned by this as I’ve seen these images before. I believe it was Daniel Erickson who said that the starting planets where the smallest of the lot, so one would infer from that statement, that there are indeed larger planets to explore. Just how big of course remains to be seen.
